This book, while fictional, draws inspiration from real events, particularly those involving the October 7th incident. The characters and many events are entirely fictional, created to explore themes of survival, loss, and human resilience. The author has taken creative liberties with timelines, dialogues, and situations for narrative purposes.
Writing this book involved navigating the delicate balance between fiction and the profound impact of real-world tragedies. My intent was always to pay homage to the strength and resilience shown by individuals in the face of adversity, using fiction as a lens to explore these themes. This story aims to honor those affected by such events, not to depict or alter the factual accounts.
I hope this narrative serves as a tribute to those who inspire us through their survival and spirit. Any resemblance to actual events or persons, beyond the documented historical context, is coincidental.

Acknowledgments
This story was first ignited by a dream on a train traveling through Switzerland, a fleeting vision that set the initial spark. It was the fuel for that spark, however, that came from a chance encounter in Jerusalem in 2015, which truly planted the seeds of a narrative that has taken years to cultivate. The journey from those moments to now has been one of patience, rewriting, and divine timing.
To those who’ve heard bits and pieces of this journey over the years, thank you for enduring my snippets of storytelling. Your encouragement has been invaluable, a reminder that this tale was meant to be shared.
My deepest gratitude, however, goes to God, for both the dream on the train and the transformative encounter in Jerusalem, and for the enduring desire to see this story through. Your guidance has been my constant companion, and as this narrative continues to grow, Lord willing, I am thankful for your patience and inspiration.
Thank you all for being part of this long-awaited journey. Your presence has been a blessing along the way.
